The Zyxel GS1100 Series is the ideal choice for rapid Gigabit connectivity in office situations that require quiet operation and improved energy efficiency. The GS1100 Series provides plug-and-play simplicity for high-bandwidth network applications with power-saving functions, Gigabit Ethernet, and a fanless design. The GS1100GS1100-16, GS1100-24, and GS1100-24E are the four unmanaged switches in the Zyxel GS1100 Series. 16 and 24 GbE ports are available on the GS1100-16 and GS1100-24E, respectively. The GS1100-24 is a 24-port Gigabit switch with two additional open Gigabit SFP slots, whereas the GS1100-8HP is an 8-port Gigabit switch that supports IEEE 802.3at Power over Ethernet (PoE) Plus, with four PoE ports that can deliver up to 30 watts each. The GS1100 Series not only provides Gigabit Ethernet connectivity for next-generation network applications, but it also includes a Gigabit Ethernet switch.According to the link state and the number of active network devices, the Zyxel GS1100 Series may regulate power consumption. This green feature allows the switch to detect and adjust power usage based on the length of connected Ethernet connections. The less electricity consumed by the cable, the better. The entire GS1100 Series is fanless, allowing for quiet operation in tiny or quiet office spaces.
